Sentience is overrated.

Think about it.

When we gain intelligence, we start questioning about the things around us. As these puzzles are answered and solved, we start moving to a deeper level, moving from simply the physical world to ones that we can’t really touch, at least not on our first try. When weexhaust this, we start turning instead to so-called philosophy and we start trying to control our behaviour.

This is where sentience starts to annoy me, but it makes sense, in a weird kind of way. It’s the story of the Fall all over again. Mankind finds out about themselves, and for some reason they find it embarassing and they try to hide it. At the end of the day though, the basic nature is there.
