For the Sunshine behind the Clou

By Naoko Kensaku

May 11, 2007

Sometimes we wonderMost times we ponderWas the Past the best?Is the future secure?

Other times we hurtMostly others are painedWe wonder whether we are sanePushing others away To save them from ourselves

Behind each cloud the Sun shinesBehind every rain cloud there’s hopeWhat does not kill us makes us strongerGrowing pains are hurtful and insane

The storms are longThe nights are lonelyThe cold’s embrace is painfulSelf-discovery is a sad road when the sun goes down

Yet deep withinThere lies a deep wellQuiet times spentDrawing strength from hereIs refreshing

Soul searchingWith the courageTo go beyond the surfaceWhere the center of your being liesIs called a skill, a gift, a talentBut what it isIs Honesty.

The sun is honestAs are youThe sun burnsAs do youThe sun warmsAs do youThe sun enflamesAs do you

You are a sunHidden by the cloudsThe rains will passBut you will remain

We love you. For who you areYou are the child of the WorldAnd so much moreYou are the child of HumanityAnd a Hope for the future.

Sending lovePatricia
