Wonders of Coffee

95 words… Not bad for lack of rhyme thanks to time.

That it awakens the mind from stupor
A black liquid that opens the door
Fragrant, strong, powerful
Makes life simply delightful

A coffee addict I am
Though not as addicted as some
For only two cups I consume a day
Or rather, two tins of Nescafe

Premium coffee I avoid
Indulgence for times I can afford
Or else neccesity they become
When the midnight oil I light

Still, coffee’s not forever
Sleep precious becomes dear
For it merely props you up
Till close thy eyes you must

This poem now will end
No more will I torture thy mind
Forgive for the lack of rhyme
My generator is out this time.
