*Switches Political trigger on a moment*

As seen in the Star today:

On how students and youths had been using online networking and blogging sites to create virtual protest groups, Dr Lim said:

“In a free and democratic country, they have every right to do so. But we must fight all this.

“If it becomes rampant, the government or the future government must do something about it. Don’t ask me what because in another month, I am out.”

So, we don’t have the right to speak our mind and protest now, do we? Thanks a lot for clarifying that, Mr Keng Yaik. You have confirmed to us youths that this is not a free and democratic country that is so often championed to the outside media. You have confirmed that this is a pay-for-autocracy country.

At least we don’t have to be in the dark about it anymore.
