[Poetry] God’s Snapshot

  • May 23, 2009
  • Poetry
  • by Naoko Kensaku

A quiet fell
The wind sang
Leaves rustled
Clouds moved
The world was silent

Outside, a Painter’s Hand
Had coloured the skies
Purple, soft purple

Soon the thunder sounded.
The rain would begin.
And thus this writer rests
The snapshot of God’s rain.
