Thoughts about Mukhsin

Heartbreakingly innocent.

Caught it over TV3 yesterday. There’s really nothing sweeter than children in love… and to watch that relationship die, is heartbreaking. The movie, from a film student point of view, is technically adequate. What makes it great is the director’s interpretation of the subject and a really fantastic cast. Nothing short of winning, really.

RIP, Kak Yasmin. I admit I cried when I saw the last scene. The first thought that came into my mind was now, she is no more. How painful is it, for a parent to bury their child?
