[Poem] Losing a head

The moon has lost its head
Lopped it off in a clean strike

“Too large,” cried the moon
“I fear I’ll frighten them!”

And so now the moon hangs
Low and large in the sky
Missing a chunk of itself
Like a squashed cheese.
