The Right Choice

When you make a choice that you know is morally right but you’re not sure whether it sits right with you, watch for signs.

Do they speak to you? Does the Universe or God tell you that YES, CHILD, THIS IS WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU?

Do they state their intentions out in neon lights, telling you that yes, have no doubts, that this correct?

Do you look for signs that discourage you, or enflame you?

Sitting still is not an option. Just the way it is, is not an option. Accepting prejudice, with the question, “Whaddya expect?” and shaking your head at its inevitability, is not an option. It’s the little kindnesses that count, not the large acts of benevolence (though they help!).

I’m all in. Are you?
